Tassel Earrings to Inspire a Colourful Summer

This is not the first time tassels have influenced my holiday style. Beaded creations adorned our apartment in Athens and quickly became a favourite embellishment of mine. Since their return to the runway in recent seasons, tassels have only become more entrenched in daily style, adorning cushions, handbags and now jewelry. In particular, tassel earrings have emerged as a trend in accessories that speaks to bohemian style. Raw, textured and yet refined, these pieces add colour and movement to your style in an uncomplicated way. Coming into summer, they are the perfect accessory to compliment your holiday wardrobe. Come and check out the styles I’ve found that elevate a neutral palette…

TASSEL EARRINGS EDIT

My favourite colour palette for summer is blush, khaki and gold. All of these colours work well together and compliment neutral linens and bronzed skin for summer. The tassel earrings I’ve selected all have warm tones which will transition right from spring through to autumn with ease. By avoiding typical summer colours like blue and aqua, you can ensure your new addition will stand the test of time.

STYLING TASSEL EARRINGS

Here are my tips for integrating tassel earrings into your existing wardrobe:

  • Match the colour as you would an eyeshadow or blush as it will be close to your facial features.
  • Choose a length that doesn’t clash with your shoulders.
  • Steer clear of chain tassels to avoid tangles or hair snags.
  • Pare back your other accessories, you can skip the necklace here.
  • Complement a neutral colour palette with metallic accents.

Which tassel earrings are your favourite pair? I just spotted the new Country Road styles online today so I’ll be checking them out on my next shopping trip. I love seeing the influx of travel trends in high street stores. It looks like I won’t have to go back to Greece for my next tassel fix ;-)

Happy shopping,
